10 Best Rooftop Bars in Jacksonville

About Jacksonville’s Best Rooftop Bars and Restaurants

We’re a little bit spoiled here on the First Coast, with all the perks of city life, an area rich in history with the vibe of a laidback beach town. And what’s the best way to take in all the natural beauty of the St. Johns River, the Atlantic Ocean and our unique skyline? When traveling to a new destination or even exploring your own backyard, a birds’ eye view is our favorite way to get your bearings… and you can’t beat a rooftop for a cocktail and some tasty treats.

Here are some of our favorite rooftop bars in Jacksonville. Cheers!

Cowford Chophouse

The Cowford Chophouse sits in the heart of downtown in a historic 1902 building and was purchased and renovated by native Jacques Klempf in 2014. The steakhouse offers incredible steaks, fresh seafood and killer rooftop views overlooking the Main Street Bridge, the Cathedral District and the Southbank skyline.

While casual attire is welcomed – it is JAX, after all – it isn’t uncommon for guests to be gussied up. It’s one of the swankiest, most delicious rooftop bars in Jacksonville!

Join them for happy hour every Monday-Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Prati Italia (formerly known as Moxie)

Jacksonville natives may know this place as Moxie, but as of January 2020, Prati Italia opened its doors with a brand new look and menu. While the restaurant focuses on everything Italian from their house-made pastas and Roman pizzas, head up the stairs to the terrace for some craft cocktails. If they’re half as good as Moxie’s, you know you’re in for a treat.
